How it started...
In 2005 Euroregion Team England visited Llandudno and enlisted the help of Cllr.Linda Groom with their first selection of the Welsh Team - which Linda suddenly found herself managing!
There were only five Team Wales Members in the first year. Laura Livesey, Jamie Minor, Sarah Roberts, Sarah Morris and Eileen Houghton represented Wales in 2005 to the highest standard possible.
Wales were the Victors when Laura Livesey from Old Colwyn took the title Miss Euroregion International 2005 - the first Welsh Girl - and indeed first British entry- to win the coveted title.
In 2006 the Welsh Team went to Belgium for the Final and Sarah Roberts gained 5th Dauphine sash.
The team consisted of
Sarah Morris, Sarah Roberts, Chanel Williams, Hayley Hughes, Elena Lloyd,Lisa Atkinson,Leah McDonagh, Carla Manfredino,Rachel Young and Samantha Stokes.
iN 2007 the Final was in Folkestone and Lisa Atkinson,Chanel Williams,Georgia Spencer Turner,Kerry Quirk,Amie Carrington,Kirsten White, Sebina White,Angharad Roberts,Lauren Knowles and Stefania Toscano made up the Welsh Team. Stefania won the 2nd Dauphine sash and Team Wales won the Team Dance Trophy
